For Businesses
Lower the risk of injury, and lower what those injuries cost you.
Many businesses employ workers at high risk for injury, particularly back, neck, and repetitive stress injuries, because of repetitive bending, lifting, carrying, or long hours at a computer.
When employees are out of work because of those injuries, the business absorbs the loss twice, once in reduced productivity and again in higher workers compensation premiums. Beyond the economics, employees who are looked after feel looked after, and that shows up in how they treat the job and the employer.
Ergonomic organization of work spaces
- We reorganize the work space so employees can do their jobs in the safest possible environment.
- We recommend equipment changes and help you find the right solution for your team.
Injury prevention seminars
Participants will:
- Learn to bend, lift, sit, and stand with the greatest efficiency and economy of movement
- Perform simple exercises that maintain flexibility and range of motion
- Recognize the postural habits that contribute to painful conditions, and learn to avoid them
- Set up work stations to minimize repetitive stress injuries such as carpal tunnel syndrome
- Understand how to address injuries once they occur, and find appropriate treatment
Workplace safety inspections
- We confirm that workers have appropriate equipment to do their jobs with the least physical risk. Something as simple as a mop with a longer handle can reduce a worker back injury.
- We inspect the workspace setup for the greatest efficiency and least physical stress.
