For Patients

SPINE SOLVERS INC. was created to answer a need by chronic pain patients for guidance in understanding their condition and getting the help they need to mitigate or resolve the symptoms. After more than 30 years as a physical therapist treating chronic pain patients, Andrea Wolkenberg, PT, MA, CKTI, came to the conclusion that although all the pieces of the puzzle exist in the medical field to manage pain, they are rarely put together intelligently, or at all, for the benefit of the patient. Where your care is concerned, surgeons know how to operate, pain management doctors know how to medicate, and physical therapists know how to manipulate. SPINE SOLVERS INC. is here to educate, communicate, cooperate, and facilitate.

Specialization has worked against the integration of complimentary disciplines that should take place to address and resolve the complexity of chronic pain. For chronic pain patients, SPINE SOLVERS INC.’s mission is to provide a comprehensive physical therapy assessment, provide excellent and convenient physical therapy services, and, if necessary, bring in other excellent healthcare practitioners who communicate and cooperate toward a common goal…your optimal health.

For Healthcare Professionals

SPINE SOLVERS INC.’s mission is to provide pain management information, consultation, and skill building in the form of continuing education. To this end, SPINE SOLVERS INC. sponsors KINESIO TAPING Method Seminars in the Greater New York area for licensed physical and occupational therapists and assistants, physicians, nurses, and other hands-on licensed medical professionals. Participation in the seminars leads to a certification as a certified Kinesio Taping practitioner. KINESIO TAPING is a powerful elastic therapeutic taping modality with very few contraindications that can be used for pain reduction, edema control, myofascial release, scar management, tendon and ligament support, and muscle re-balancing and re-education. Its proper application can extend the effects of your manual treatment well beyond what you achieve in the clinic.

For Businesses

SPINE SOLVERS INC. can assist in mitigating worker’s compensation claims by training staff who are at high risk for injury in work place safety practices, and conducting ergonomic assessments and corrections of the workplace environment. We are also happy to serve as an expert witness in civil actions involving other physical therapists.
